Make Someone Happy Or Not

Information & policies

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains cancellations, withdrawal rights and refund enquiries for personalized digital surprises purchased through Make Someone Happy Or Not. It should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over this policy.

1. Before payment

You can leave checkout before completing payment. A surprise link is not activated unless the application receives successful payment confirmation or a valid 100% coupon is redeemed.

Closing the payment page or returning through a cancellation link does not, by itself, prove that a payment was cancelled or that no charge occurred. Payment confirmation may arrive after you leave the page. If you see a charge but have no order confirmation or usable link, contact us so we can check the transaction. Leaving checkout is not an automatic refund request.

2. Immediate digital delivery and withdrawal rights

Following successful payment confirmation or valid coupon redemption, we normally activate your personalized digital link and make it available on the checkout confirmation page immediately. The order email is processed separately and can be delayed. The purchaser shares the link with the recipient; we do not automatically email it to the recipient.

Checkout requires separate declarations for acceptance of the Terms and for your express request for immediate digital supply before the withdrawal period ends, together with acknowledgement of the loss of the withdrawal right where the applicable legal conditions are met.

The statutory withdrawal right is not lost merely because a link has been generated or a checkbox has been selected. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, loss of that right depends on all applicable legal requirements being satisfied, including prior express consent, acknowledgement and the required contractual confirmation on a durable medium. Where the transaction legally qualifies as a service or involves continuing digital-service obligations, different withdrawal rules may apply.

Where a statutory withdrawal right remains available, the applicable period is normally 14 days from conclusion of the contract. You may exercise it by sending a clear statement of your decision to withdraw to the contact details below within the applicable period. The immediate-supply declaration does not override mandatory law.

The access period shown before checkout starts when payment is confirmed or the coupon is redeemed, not when the recipient first opens the link. Unless a different period is shown, access normally lasts 30 days. Links are not automatically renewed or extended after expiry.

3. When a refund or another remedy may be available

Contact support if:

  • You believe you were charged more than once for the same order.

  • Payment succeeded but no usable surprise link became available.

  • The purchased experience was materially unavailable during its agreed access period.

  • The delivered digital content or service materially differed from the agreed order or was defective.

  • You wish to exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal right or another mandatory consumer remedy.

Requests are reviewed individually through support, not automatically approved by the website. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the appropriate remedy may include correcting a delivery problem, restoring the agreed access, a price reduction, cancellation or a refund. This does not mean that every technical enquiry automatically entitles the customer to a refund.

A delayed email or a separately pending receipt does not, by itself, mean the surprise was not delivered if the agreed link is available and usable. You can check the checkout confirmation page or access My surprises, and contact us if you cannot retrieve the link.

A 100% coupon order has no paid amount to reimburse. This does not remove any applicable rights relating to delivery or conformity of the digital experience. No automatic coupon replacement or reinstatement is promised by this policy.

4. When a discretionary refund is normally unavailable

Where the legal requirements for loss of the withdrawal right have been satisfied and the agreed experience has been supplied correctly, we generally do not offer discretionary refunds solely because:

  • You change your mind or no longer wish to share the surprise.

  • The recipient does not open it or does not react as you hoped.

  • The content matches the saved selections you reviewed, but you later want different names, wording or emojis.

  • The disclosed access period expires without you or the recipient using the link.

Changes to an already purchased surprise are not guaranteed unless an editing feature is expressly provided. Nothing in this policy excludes a refund or another remedy required by law, including for non-delivery, defective content or lack of conformity.

5. How to request help or cancellation

Email info@makesomeonehappyornot.com or use our Contact page. Include your order reference, such as MSH-000145, purchaser email, purchase date and a short description of the issue. For a withdrawal request, clearly state that you wish to withdraw from the identified order.

We may request proportionate information needed to locate the transaction and verify the request. Never send full card numbers, card security codes or passwords.

We will assess the request and explain the outcome in accordance with applicable law. Where a statutory refund is due, the applicable legal timing and payment-method requirements apply. A request does not itself automatically deactivate a link, reverse a payment or alter a receipt.

You are encouraged, but not required, to contact us about payment problems. Nothing in this policy restricts your right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge through your payment provider or to use competent consumer authorities or courts.
